San Eylem Dogan
Şan Eylem Doğan is a whisky author, educator, and cultural curator dedicated to exploring whisky beyond the glass — through history, storytelling, gastronomy, and travel. He is the founder of Şan’s Whisky Culture, a platform focused on whisky education, tasting experiences, and cultural whisky events. San’s book The Mysterious Journey of Whisky is an internationally recognised whisky book that won a Gourmand Award in 2025, establishing him as one of the leading voices in whisky culture in Turkey.
At Whisky & Beyond, Şan focuses on cultural projects, private tastings, storytelling, and the narrative development behind bespoke bottlings and whisky experiences.

Selim Evin
Selim Evin is an independent bottler and whisky curator best known as the founder of Chapter 7 Whisky, an independent Scotch whisky company that began as a passion project and evolved into an internationally recognised, award‑winning independent bottler. His whisky selections have received significant international recognition, including four “Whisky of the Year” awards in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible, as well as Gold and Master medals at major international competitions such as the IWSC (International Wine & Spirit Competition) and the Scotch Whisky Masters.
With Whisky & Beyond, Selim focuses on bespoke bottlings, private cask projects, and exclusive releases for collectors, clubs, and institutions, continuing his work as a curator of rare and singular spirits. Selim is currently working with Burnobennie Distillery as Whisky Manager.
The Mysterious Journey of Whisky

The Mysterious Journey of Whisky is an award-winning whisky culture book written by Şan Eylem Doğan. The original Turkish edition, published as Viskinin Gizemli Yolculuğu, was awarded Best Whisky Book in the World at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in gastronomy publishing. The book explores whisky through history, science, culture, and global events connected to whisky. The English edition is also a finalist at the 2026 Gourmand Awards.
