Cultural Curator & Whisky WriterŞan Eylem Doğan is a whisky author, educator, and the founder of Şan’s Whisky Culture, a platform dedicated to whisky education, cultural tastings, and curated whisky experiences. His award-winning book The Mysterious Journey of Whisky received the “World’s Best Whisky Book” award at the Gourmand Awards, with the English edition reaching the finals in 2026.
Through tastings, storytelling, gastronomy, and curated whisky journeys in Scotland, Şan explores whisky beyond the glass — connecting spirits with culture, place, and shared experience. At Whisky & Beyond, he leads cultural projects, private tastings, and the narrative development behind bespoke releases and whisky experiences.
SELIM EVIN
Whisky Curator & Independent BottlerFounder of Chapter 7 Whisky the first Turkish independent bottler with Scottish roots to gain international recognition in Scotch whisky. Selim’s award-winning cask selections have received four “Whisky of the Year” awards in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible alongside numerous international accolades.
Having bottled nearly 900 casks to date, his work focuses on singular whiskies, private cask projects, and exclusive releases for collectors, clubs, and institutions. Currently Whisky Manager at Burnobennie Distillery.
